Students spoke during the Parent, Teacher, Association meeting thanks to the PTA president. Her daughter's junk food question during standardized test lunch actually served as the catalyst for the protest. The policy required teachers to eat with students on test days as a "cheating" precaution. I questioned the policy, but appreciated the critical thinking discourse.
